Easy Naadan Beef Curry | Best Beef Gravy Recipe | Kerala Style
Beef Gravy is a delicious, flavorful dish prepared especially in the Kerala region. This dish is slow cooked on stove top or pressure cooked to ease the job. This is mostly served with ghee rice and parottas.
Beef Curry
Ingredients
- Beef - 1/2 kg
- Shallots - 1 cup (chopped)
- Onion - 2 (big, sliced)
- Ginger Garlic Green Chilli Paste - 1 1/2 tbsp
- Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
- Fennel Powder - 1 tsp
- Red Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
- Coriander Powder - 2 tsp
- Garam Masala Powder - 1 tsp
- Salt
- Water - 1/2 cup
- Tomato - 1
- Oil
Instructions
- Heat oil, saute onion, ginger garlic green chilli paste until onions are 3/4 cooked. Add shallots and cook further for 10 minutes.
- Add tomatoes and cook for 5 minutes. Add spice powders, salt and mix well. Add beef and mix well. Add water and pressure cook till done.
- Once the steam is released, transfer the gravy to another vessel and bring the gravy to a boil. Garnish with coriander leaves and mix well. Serve hot.
