BBQ Chicken Pizza is a delicious easy recipe with a thin crust (crust thickness depends on your interest). With the flavorful bbq sauce, topped with yummy chicken, olives, capsicum etc, finally covered with a good amount of cheese and then baked till the cheese is melted.
Ingredients
FOR PIZZA BASE:-
- All Purpose Flour - 2 1/2 cups
- Salt
- Sugar - 1 tsp
- Yeast - 1 1/4 tsp
- Luke Warm Water - 1 1/2 cups
FOR TOPPINGS:-
- BBQ Sauce
- Capsicum - 1 cup (chopped)
- Onion - 1 cup (chopped)
- Black Olives - 1 cup (sliced)
- Cooked Chicken - 250gms (chopped)
- Mozzarella Cheese
- Oregano
Instructions
- To the luke warm water, add sugar and yeast, mix until it dissolves well. Close and keep for 15 minutes for the yeast to activate.
- Next mix flour and salt together. Add yeast mixture and knead well to sticky dough. Cover and keep for 2 hrs for the dough to ferment. Fermentation time depends on the room temperature.
- Once dough is fermented and doubled in size, add some more flour and knead to a soft dough. Divide the dough to equal balls and tuck it.
- Dust flour on to a flat surface and roll it to a semi thick base. The base thickness depends on your liking.
- Grease a pizza tray, place the pizza base and spread with your hands till it covers the edges of the tray. Prick with a fork on the base.
- Spread enough bbq sauce, arrange your toppings, cover it with enough cheese and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 15 to 20 minutes or till the base is cooked through and the cheese melts to a golden color.
