It is a easy lip-smacking snack prepared with slices of bread dipped in egg wash, coated on breadcrumbs and then deep fried. This wonderful snack will be one of the favorites at home having the flavor of stuffed chicken within the pockets. The stuffing varies with ones choice.

  • Bread - 10 slices
  • Eggs - 3 (beaten)
  • Chicken Filling - 1 cup
  • Bread Crumbs - as needed
  • Oil - to fry


  1. Take 2 slices of bread, place together, using a sharp edged mould or a cup and cut through. Now you will get 2 disc shaped bread slices.
  2. Now take 2 breads together and dip well in beaten egg. Coat it in bread crumbs.
  3. Heat oil on low flame and fry the bread pocket until crisp and golden color. Make sure to flip the bread pocket every now and then so that it doesn't burn.
  4. Cut through the middle of the bread pocket, now you will get a semi circled opening, stuff it with the chicken filling. Now bread pocket is ready to serve.
