Ingredients
Chicken - 1 kg (cut into small pieces)
Shallots - 1/2 kg (sliced thinly)
Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tbsp
Green Chilli - 3 (chopped)
Tomato - 2 (chopped)
Turmeric Powder - 1/4 tsp
Red Chilli Powder - 2 tbsp
Fennel Powder - 1 tbsp
Coriander Powder - 2 tsp
Freshly Ground Pepper Powder - 1 tsp
Garam Masala Powder - 1 tsp
Hot Water - 1 cup or more
Salt
Curry Leaves
Coconut Oil
Instructions
Heat oil in a deep bottom pan, saute the ginger garlic paste and green chilli until raw smell fades. Add the shallots, sprinkle little salt and saute till it turns soft and mushy on medium low flame. Stir in between to avoid burning at the bottom.
Add the tomatoes and cook till mushy. Now add the spice powder and salt on low flame and saute till raw smell fades and oil starts to separate from it.
Add the chicken pieces, mix until all the masala's are coated well. Cover and cook for 5 minutes.
Now pour water according to your consiatency, mix, cover and cook till done.
