Ingredients

  • Chicken - 1 kg
  • Ginger Garlic Green Chilli Paste - 1 tbsp
  • Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder - 2 tsp
  • Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Dry Chilli - 10 to 15
  • Fennel Seeds - 1 tsp
  • Lemon Juice - juice of 1 lemon
  • Garam Masala Powder - 1 tsp
  • Curry Leaves
  • Oil
  • Salt - as needed

Instructions

  1. Blend fennel seeds and dry chilli to a coarse texture.
  2. Marinate chicken with ginger garlic green chilli paste, lemon juice, then add the spice powders, ground spice mixture and salt. Keep refrigerated overnight or atleast for 2 hrs.
  3. Deep fry chicken, once the chicken is 3/4 done, add curry leaves and fry till crisp.
