Lebanese Chicken Shawarma Wrap Recipe | Chicken Shawarma Wraps | Lebanese Shawarma Wraps | Middle Eastern
Lebanese Chicken Shawarma Wraps are a delicious and popular Middle Eastern dish that consists of marinated and grilled or roasted chicken, wrapped in a warm pita bread along with various flavorful toppings and sauces.
To make the chicken shawarma, boneless chicken is typically marinated in a mixture of spices such as cumin, paprika, coriander, garlic, and lemon juice. The marinated chicken is then cooked on a grill or roasted until tender and juicy. The chicken is thinly sliced or shredded before being placed inside a soft and fluffy pita bread.
The wrap is then assembled with an array of toppings and condiments to enhance the flavors. Common toppings include thinly sliced tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, and fresh herbs like parsley or mint. Additionally, a garlic sauce or tahini sauce is often added for a creamy and tangy element.
Lebanese chicken shawarma wraps are known for their bold and aromatic flavors, combining the smoky and spiced chicken with the freshness of the vegetables and the creaminess of the sauces. They are typically served as a handheld meal, making them a convenient and satisfying option for lunch or dinner.
These wraps can be enjoyed as a quick and flavorful street food-style meal or served as part of a larger Middle Eastern-inspired feast. They are versatile, customizable, and loved by many for their delicious combination of textures and flavors.
